ANZAC poem

ANZAC Day is a national holiday in Australia.
Here is a poem I wrote from the point of view of a doctor in Gallipoli.
I understand I need to be here to help the soldiers.
I say I need to be here.
I dream to be home with my family and friends.
I try to imagine that I am home with them.
I hope that I will be home soon.
I see the blood on the patient I am treating.
I am an ANZAC doctor.

Symmetry

In 4T we have been investigating symmetry.
Symmetry is when a shape’s halves are the same in horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Here is an eg: a rectangle has two lines of symmetry one vertical and one horizontal but it can’t be done diagonaly because if you fold it the sides won’t Mach up.
I explored our classroom to see real-world examples.
Click this link to see what I found.
What are 5 different live thing that are symmetrical?
