I am Qin from the dragon knights today because it is our dress up day. Today we got to dress up as book characters form our favourite books. I dressed up is Qin because he is the main character of my favourite book dragon knights. There are three books in the series.
Qin is my favourite character because he has spirt and will power and can turn in to an earth dragon and is son of the king.

This week we have been studying temperature.
We have used thermometers to measure temperatures of liquids, explored air temperatures and made a labeled diergrm to tell the temperature of the capital citys of Australia.
Using the Bureau of Meterology website we explored the temperatures of Australia’s states. Here is what we found:

This term we are learning about science and materials.
Last week we participated in a school visit from Hands On Science. We did experiments my favourite was the one were we tested the materials on how water resistant they were.
Here is the science report for what we did.
Aim to see which materials are water proof.
Hypothesis the plastic will take the longest time to soke in the water in because most plastics are water proof.
Variables
Measure how many seconds it takes for the water to soke into the material
Change the material
Same the amount of water used

1 Hold the dropper over the material
2 Drop one of the drops of water on to the material
3 Count how many seconds finds it takes the water the absorb
4 Repeat this for all the Materials
